FOG is pleased to announce our 2022 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar will be held Wednesday, June 8 from 8am-5pm at the Albuquerque Journal auditorium. After concerns over COVID led us to postpone this event, we are excited to once again welcome attorneys and interested members of the public to join us and our expert slate of presenters for this all-day training.
The CLE will focus on open meetings and open records issues in the era of COVID, as well as recent cases. This year’s program will include presentations by attorneys on the FOG board of directors, as well as government officials. Albuquerque City Clerk Ethan Watson will discuss the practicalities of fulfilling public records requests. We’ll also have a bipartisan legislative transparency panel, including outgoing Speaker of the House Brian Egolf, Senator Mark Moores, Fred Nathan of Think New Mexico, and Heather Ferguson of Common Cause New Mexico.
